Safe Arizona Firearms Education in partnership with our Brother company Safe American Firearms Education, LLC will be presenting an NRA Basic Pistol course set at the Harris Park Shooting Range in Bailey, Colorado
The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is a two-part course consisting of an e-learning portion (completed online-in your own timeframe) and a hands-on practical portion conducted at a range under the guidance and supervision of an NRA-Certified Instructor. Some of the topics in the course include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, selecting and storing a pistol, the fundamentals of shooting, and pistol inspection and maintenance.
The Steel Target Clinic is a non-NRA program, and once the NRA Basic Pistol Course is completed, we will bring out a dueling tree, a spinner, two gongs, and a few other reactive targets. We will train on the fundamentals of multiple target acquisition, rhythm shooting, and strategies for steel target competition shooting. This will be available for an additional $50, and students can expect to use about 100 rounds of ammunition on this course.
We accept people of all ages to attend this course, as long as the proper mindset and maturity is present to maintain a safe and secure atmosphere.
You will need the following:
• A Pistol (a pistol can be rented for $15 if needed)
